Grades 7–8
Pre-Algebra
Pre-Algebra closes the arithmetic gaps that quietly break Algebra 1 later. Students rebuild fluency with fractions, negatives, ratios and the idea of a variable, then practise reading a situation and writing it as an equation.

Questions
Pre-Algebra FAQ
My child is in Grade 8 but struggling. Is this a step back?
No. Placement follows the Math Snapshot, not the grade on paper. Starting where the gaps are is the fastest route to Algebra 1.
What if we miss a class?
Every session is recorded and indexed by topic, and office hours cover anything unclear.
Is there heavy homework?
No. Daily practice is a focused five minutes, plus checkpoint review.
